| The tree measures just under 3 in height by 1 Ύ at its widest when worked in a no. 20 thread. Beads are needed and two shuttles. |
| Skills required. Split rings, using beads in place of picots and adding beads to picots, ring on split ring |

| Using a hook, take Sh1 thread under the picot joining the next two SRs. Bring it up into the next space thus forming a loop. Fig. 1 | Take both shuttles through this loop and carefully tighten the loop using Sh1. Fig. 2 |
