This pattern can be worked from start to finish without having to tie and cut if a split chain is used.  Finished size in No. 20 approximately 2".

 

Skills Required:  A knowledge of Split Rings, Self Closing Mock Ring and Split Chain (optional) are needed.

B move bead into place instead of picot +B Add bead to picot before joining btwn between

Wsh1 working shuttle 1 Wsh2 working shuttle 2 Cl close
T & C tie and cut        

 

Materials - Thread, two shuttles and beads.  Add 4 small, 1 large, 4 small beads to Wsh2 before starting.  Another 9 beads are needed to add to picots.

 

Centre Ring – Wsh1

2 vsp 2 vsp 2 vsp 2 vsp 2 leave a vsp mock picot and add Wsh2

Round 1

SR1:     2 – 3 / 2 – 3

*Ch:     6 – 6

R2:       3 +B(last p of last R) 2 +(next p on centre ring) 2 – 3

Repeat from * joining last p R5 to 1st p SR1 with B

Split chain of 6 / 6  Change to Wsh2

Round 2

SR6:     Leave a vsp mock picot 8 / 8  Change to Wsh1

Ch:       12  Change to Wsh2

SCMR7:           4 R[4 +(base R1 on rnd1) 4 Cl] 4  Change to Wsh1

Ch:       B12

R8:       2 +B(p on Ch btwn SR1 & R2 of rnd1) 2
