Materials required. Red thread. Beads. Skills Required. Knowledge of split rings. NB. All picots on the rings and split rings in round 3 and onwards join behind the chains of previous rows. |

Add 40 beads to Wsh2 before starting. 8 further beads are needed to add to picots. Using Wsh1

Clanger – 2 shuttles The length or the clanger can be adjusted depending on the size of bead used. Before winding Wsh2 take the end of Wsh1 and pass it through the large bead and small bead. Take the end back through the large bead only leaving about 1 yard of thread to tie to Wsh 2 - see Fig. 5. Make the first part of SR1 with Wsh1 starting close to the beads. Before beginning the second half, make sure the beads are still close to the start. |
SR1: 8 / 8 SR2: 7 / 7 SR3: 6 / 6 SR4: 5 / 5 SR5: 4 / 4 T & C leaving the ends to assemble the bell. |
Stiffen the bell before assembling. To assemble the bell take the threads left at the top of the clanger through the centre ring. Add a further bead at the top of the bell to prevent the thread falling back through! Tie a knot to keep it in place. For help with this pattern, please contact me. |
