Bugs - Part 1 - copyright © Jane Eborall 2005

This is the first part of three sets of bugs which were taught at the Palmetto Tat Days in June 2005.  I am hoping that the three sets will provide useful teaching tools for tatters.  Although not all techniques are covered - many of the current ones are.  If you wish to use these for teaching purposes I would be grateful for all feedback and comments.  Please ask before using by emailing me

Pattern A - An Itsy Bitsy Spider

Pattern B - Fatty Butts

Pattern C - Batty Fly

Pattern D - Batty Buttons

The first four patterns progress from a simple ring (A) on to rings and chains (B) to rings on chains (C) with, finally, adding buttons to the chains.  All four have beads on the core threads for eyes.
