Abbreviations

OP       overlapping picot

WOP    white overlapping picot made up of 2ds

POP     pink overlapping picot made up of 2ds

VLP     very long picot

SCMR  self closing mock ring

FT        finger tat using Wsh 3

Wsh 3 – both pink shuttle threads tied together leaving approximately 2 foot to finger tat with along with white shuttle.

 SCMR A (body)

FT 4 with Wsh 3 working over the loose end of the white thread to hide start.  See fig. 2

SCMR B    Using BOTH pink shuttles 2 POP, take white thread and shuttle up BEHIND pink and over to work 2 WOP, 2 POP, 2 WOP, 2 POP, (using pink R 6 – 6 Cl), 2 POP, take white thread BEHIND ring, 2 WOP, * 2 POP, 2 WOP, rep from * once 2 POP.  Close

SCMR A     (continued) FT 4 (using Wsh 3 and white shuttle).  See fig. 3

SCMR C      Using BOTH pink shuttles and same technique as SCMR B, * 2 POP, 2 WOP, rep from * 3 times, 2 POP (using pink R 8 – 8 Cl), * 2 POP, 2 WOP (DON’T FORGET to take the white thread BEHIND the ring just worked) rep from * 4 times, 2 POP Cl

Close SCMR A by pulling up 2 pink threads of Wsh 3

SR G    Using both pink shuttles together for 1^st half of SR and Wsh 3 for 2^nd half, work 3 / 3.  Cut
