Both versions are worked in the same way from SR1 to SR20. The only variation occurs in the last 4 split rings. |

Version 1 32 beads are required (21 of these are added to the very long picots). 1 slightly larger bead is needed for the eye. The seahorse is worked in one part starting at the tip of the tail. Start with Sh#2 as the working shuttle. |

R17: 1 + (2nd p SR14) 4 – 4 Add the eye bead before closing the ring by pulling the core thread down through the picot towards the centre of the ring and adding the bead. Take Wsh2 through the loop and carefully tighten up ring.
