Materials required:-
No. 20 thread, small seed beads and two shuttles.
Add 5 beads to Sh1 and 40 beads to Sh2 before starting. Further
beads needed to add to picots. Knowledge of split rings and using beads. |

Using Sh1 place 5 beads on the thread round hand before starting R1. R1: 2 – 1 p with five beads leaving small spaces between beads for joining in between later) 1 – 2 SR2: 3 – 3 / 3 – 3 *SR3: 3 – 3 / 3 B 3 SR4: 2 – 2 / 2 B 2 Ch: 2 B 2 DP 2 B 1 – 1 B 2 Lj (DP) 2 B 2 SR5: 2 + B (SR4) 2 / 2 B 2 SR6: 3 + B (SR3) 3 / 3 B 3 SR7: 3 + B (SR2) 3 / 3 – 3 R8: 2 + B (R1) 1 + (next p R1 btwn next 2 B’s) 1 – 2 SR9: 3 – 3 / 3 + B (SR7) 3 * Repeat from * to * 4 further times joining the last
central ring to R1 (as before - between beads) and 1st of R1 (with a
bead). Also join the final SR to SR2 with a bead. T & C base R1
